Halloween garland made from mini pods

These little mini pods look like tiny pumpkins. I just love the look of this garland because it just screams Halloween but will also look great for fall. This is very quick and easy to do while you’re riding in the car or watching TV

Materials:

  • mini pods  (I purchased these at Michaels but I have seen them at other places in the past. They only cost $5.99 and this will be enough to make a long garland.
  • needle and fishing line or some kind of sturdy cord.

Step1.

Thread the needle and then stick it through the mini pods. Most of the will be really easy to go through but some of them may require moving the needle around a little until you find a soft area in the pods.

Step 2.

Keep threading them until the garland is as long as you want it to be. Make a loop at each end for hanging.

About Elaine Kazinec

I have never met anyone who can't make wonderful things for their homes, friends, and family, only those who think they can't. The purpose of this blog is to show everyone how really simple most projects for the home are to make. When my husband and I bought our first home we were short on cash so I learned to be long on creativity. I have been told that I can make something wonderful out of nothing and that is true. You can too! Some of my favorite things are items that I found in someone's junk pile. I am going to show you how easy it really is. I hope you find the courage to jump in and attempt some of these projects. You will be amazed at how talented you really are.
