This wreath is very simple to make using a birdnest and some artificial eggs.  The bird is made from canvas fabric and hot glue. At holidays I take out the eggs and replace them with hearts for valentines day, shamrocks for St Patricks, candy corn for Halloween etc… I also make extra birds so I can use a cardinal for winter and a blackbird for Halloween.
- Grapevine wreath
- bird nest
- canvas fabric
Glue bird nest onto wreath and then add eggs.Â
Cut out two bird bodies and two wings from lightweight canvas.
Glue bird body pieces together leaving an opening in the bottom for stuffing. Poke the stuffing in and then glue opening shut.Â
Glue wings onto body as shown in picture.
Glue stick onto bottom of bird.
Paint bird whatever color you would like. Attach it to wreath using hot glue.Â
