Wooden conversation hearts for Valentines day decor.

I made these conversation hearts out of  a 2×4 but you could also make them out of the pre packaged wooden hearts from the craft store if you don’t want to cut them out.  I just painted and stenciled them and that’s all there is to it.  This is a fun project because you can write anything you want on them which would make them a fun gift for someone special.

  • small piece of 2×4 or a package of wooden hearts.
  • paint
  • stencil

Step 1.

Cut out hearts from 2×4 and then sand the edges so they are smooth.  Or you can just use pre cut heart shapes if you want.

Step 2.

Paint the hearts different colors and let them dry.

Step 3.

Using a stencil add whatever words you want and you’re done !

About Elaine Kazinec

I have never met anyone who can't make wonderful things for their homes, friends, and family, only those who think they can't. The purpose of this blog is to show everyone how really simple most projects for the home are to make. When my husband and I bought our first home we were short on cash so I learned to be long on creativity. I have been told that I can make something wonderful out of nothing and that is true. You can too! Some of my favorite things are items that I found in someone's junk pile. I am going to show you how easy it really is. I hope you find the courage to jump in and attempt some of these projects. You will be amazed at how talented you really are.
