Valentines Day Crafts – Wooden Hearts Shadowbox – Easy Project

wooden-heart-in-shadowbox.JPG

This is another easy project that can be used to decorate for Valentines day. I used a graduation tassel frame but you could use almost any type of deep frame or shadowbox. I also used scrapbook paper because there are so many different colors and patterns to choose from.

Materials:

  • scrapbook paper
  • wooden hearts
  • shadowbox frame
  • glue

Step 1. Trace hearts onto paper. Cut them out and set aside.

Step 2.

Trace back of frame onto paper you’ve chosen then cut it out and glue it onto the frame back. Glue the heart shaped papers onto the wooden hearts. I thin out my glue by adding a little bit of water to it so that it can be brushed on.

Step 3.

Attach the wooden hearts to the back of the picture frame with glue.

About Elaine Kazinec

I have never met anyone who can't make wonderful things for their homes, friends, and family, only those who think they can't. The purpose of this blog is to show everyone how really simple most projects for the home are to make. When my husband and I bought our first home we were short on cash so I learned to be long on creativity. I have been told that I can make something wonderful out of nothing and that is true. You can too! Some of my favorite things are items that I found in someone's junk pile. I am going to show you how easy it really is. I hope you find the courage to jump in and attempt some of these projects. You will be amazed at how talented you really are.
