Rustic Crafts – Twig Frame Unique – Easy Project

I wanted a unique frame for this special picture of my grandson and I so I decided to make one. This rustic frame costs nothing to make and is a great way to highlight a favorite photo.

Materials:

  • Medium size twigs.
  • cardboard
  • glue
  • clamps
  • 5×7 photograph

Step1. Cut out a piece of cardboard stightly larger than the photo. Apply glue to the edges of picture and attach it to the piece of cardboard.

Step 2. Cut four twigs to put on the the edges of the photo. Make sure they are big enough to cover the cardboard all the way around. Fasten them with glue and clamp them down so they don’t slip. Let them dry completely before going on to the next step.

Step 3. Apply twigs to the corners of the frame attaching them with glue as shown in picture.

Step 4. Attach twigs to the corner pieces as shown in picture.

Step 5. Attach twine to top of frame to hang. I had two rose pine cones which I added to the corners but you could use any small pine cones or acorns etc…
