Picture frame collage.

I really love taking pictures and enjoy displaying them but have a hard time getting the pictures straight without putting a LOT of holes in the walls.  My husband has become really cranky about that since we moved into a log home so I came up with a couple of ways to do this with a minimum amount of holes in the wall.

Materials:

For this project you need picture frames that are the same size.

glue gun

drill

screwdriver and screws or hammer and nails

Step 1.

Lay picture frames on the floor in the grouping you would like to put on the wall.

Step 2.

Apply hot glue to the edge of the first frame and attach it to the next one in line.  Repeat this until you have glued all the frames to each other.  Lift the frames carefully as you do this so they don’t come apart.

Step 3.

Have someone help you lift the row of frames and position them where you want them.  Using a small drill bit  make a pilot hole in the corner of the first frame, middle frame, and last frame.  You can then use nails or screws to attach the frames to the wall.  Then repeat this on the bottom of the same three frames.

About Elaine Kazinec

I have never met anyone who can't make wonderful things for their homes, friends, and family, only those who think they can't. The purpose of this blog is to show everyone how really simple most projects for the home are to make. When my husband and I bought our first home we were short on cash so I learned to be long on creativity. I have been told that I can make something wonderful out of nothing and that is true. You can too! Some of my favorite things are items that I found in someone's junk pile. I am going to show you how easy it really is. I hope you find the courage to jump in and attempt some of these projects. You will be amazed at how talented you really are.
