A very simple pillow cover that is inexpensive and fun to make. I usually buy the napkins at half price after each holiday and keep them for the next year.
Materials:
- Pillow form slightly smaller than napkins (These can be purchased at any fabric store.)
- Straight pins
- Thread to match napkins
- Velcro
Instructions for napkin pillows:
For this project you will need two cloth napkins and a pillow slightly smaller than the napkins.
Step 1.
Pin the fabric napkins together wrong sides together.
Stitch napkins together on three sides leaving one side open to insert pillow.
Measure a piece of ¾ inch Velcro the same size as the opening in the pillow. Cut Velcro in half, lengthwise.
Sew Velcro on both sides of opening. Insert pillow form and you’re done.
